amazing breakfast helpful staff great location entrance steps ground level
The breakfast was amazing. So many choices! the staff were friendly and helpful, answering all my questions. the location was great, near eateries, that was awesome.
There were steps from the entrance to the lobby. Carrying luggage up was tricky. the lift didn't start at ground level.

the room was super clean and spacious. the train station and bus stops were so close. staff helped me get a package, i was so grateful!
The lift was a bit small. It was hard with luggage. pillows were not soft at all! i found it weird and difficult to sleep. there was floor tape, looked like works were in progress.

adequately located, BUT some issues
no air conditioning small lift
the location was ACCEPTABLE and close to many restaurants.
The absence of air conditioning during warm weather was a problem. My room window directly faced the private balcony of an adjacent building. Privacy was compromised. Reaching reception required climbing stairs with luggage. The lift was too small.

old elevator poor value
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The elevator looked quite old and questionable.. I ended up using the stairs after my first trip. The room offered only the bare necessities. I consider the value for money the worst I've experienced in several years at any hotel.

modern lift helpful staff
The location was near the train station, about a 550m walk. A supermarket (Co-Op) was also nearby, only a 160m walk. The room had access to a lift, modern and clean.
I noticed the entrance looked a little dated.

Solid Stay Close to the Station
friendly staff comfortable bed central location
The reception staff was quite friendly and helpful. my room was adequately sized and clean, with a comfortable bed for the few nights i stayed. the hotel's proximity to the train station was a huge plus for my travel plans. the morning breakfast had fresh options. I found the scrambled eggs to be particularly tasty!!!
the street outside could be a bit noisy at times, particularly in the early morning.

my room included a comfortable bed with two separate quilts. there was a walk-in shower, and the water pressure was adequate. the bathroom basin was conveniently placed in the main roomwith easy access to water for the kettle.

the front desk staff offered friendly and efficient check-in and check-out services. they allowed me to leave my bags behind the desk until i needed to catch my train. the staff members spoke fluent english and seemed very polite.

the breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options to start the day. there was fresh bread daily, alongside scrambled eggs. i also noticed that they seemed to offer early breakfast options for those leaving to catch the bernina express!!!

the location was very convenient for accessing the train station and the historical part of the city. i found it easy to walk with my luggage from the station to the premises. many restaurants and essential services are located nearby.

the staff were polite, especially when i needed directions.
The stairs to the reception were a pain with luggage and no lift was available at the entrance. It reminded me of an obstacle course before i even checked in. the room's lack of proper curtains didn't help either and they were oddly short. the street noise kept me awake most of the night.
